Intended Use & Principle of Operations

Intended Use: NeuroFlex is a software application that uses an off-the-shelf VR device to acquire ocular-motor responses of test subjects to a set of pre-determined stimuli, and it provides indexes on ocular-motor functions to aid in the assessment of cognitive brain health.

NeuroFlex does not make any diagnostic or clinical decision for any specific disease or condition. It is not intended to diagnose or monitor any specific disease or condition.

Principle of Operation

NeuroFlex presents visual cues in a VR environment to track the subject’s ocular-motor response. Using this data, analysis of ocular-motor functions is performed by cloud-based algorithms to generate novel metrics of cognitive brain health. These metrics are presented to healthcare professionals via a dashboard accessible through a standard browser interface.
